MD will be included in the 49TH COMMUNICATION ARTS DESIGN ANNUAL. It is considered by many professionals as the leading authority in our industry. Attracting entries from the USA, Canada, England and 40 other countries, the design annual features the best posters, brochures, packaging, trademarks, corporate identity, annual reports, catalogs, letterheads and signage. Only 2% of the work entered is selected for the annual.

The San Antonio Business Journal has ranked Murillo Design as one of the LARGEST GRAPHIC DESIGN FIRMS in our market. A list of San Antonio's 25 largest studios was published on June 27, 2008 ranking MD as lucky #13. The ranking reflects a compilation of several criteria including staff, client and account size. With over 40 local, 5 regional and 3 national clients we have skipped to the middle and are quickly headed to the top.

MD receives top honors for its design work by the Dallas Society of Visual Communications. The DSVC is largest regional club for visual communications professionals in the nation. Less than 250 selections out of over 900 entries were chosen to participate by a panel of nationally recognized professionals in the creative industry. MD was honored with 5 entry selections and awarded the coveted LIGHTBULB AWARD for best logo design.

NATIONAL ACCLAIM

The American Advertising Federation (AAF) has awarded MD 2 NATIONAL ADDY awards for design excellence. The awards were presented in Atlanta at the AAF annual conference.

Rikky Moller joins the MD creative team as its Senior Designer. Formerly of Blue Clover, he is an expert in interactive and Web site design. Along with his knowledge of print design, he is a great asset to the team.

Its work will also be included in GRAPHIS LOGO DESIGN 7, which features design work, profiles and interviews with some of the world's most respected logo designers. Once again MD's logo design has been selected to be included in the 2007 Dallas Show by the Dallas Society of Visual Communication, the largest regional club for visual communications professionals in the nation. Less than 275 out of over 850 entries were chosen to participate by a panel of nationally recognized leaders in the creative industry. MD was honored with 4 entry selections. The selected entries have an opportunity to walk away with the prestigious Gold, Silver or Bronze Light Bulb award. MD is honored to be have been recognized with the Light Bulb Award numerous times in the past by this wonderful organization and we hope to be so fortunate this time around.
